A lucky dip with tasty surprises

I know potatoes are THE cheapest veggie in the supermarkets but you just can’t beat the delight of unearthing various sizes and shapes of tasty spuds from below the earth.
With the summer season coming to the end (if it ever started) I wanted to make some room for crops for growing over the winter. So today I dug up the final potato plants. The great thing about growin
g potatoes is that they are sooooo easy. Even a novice like myself now have a sizeable sack full from just 16 original chitted potatoes. They keep fresher for so much longer than those from the supermarkets. Only downside is that they can take up quite a lot of space if you are limited with space……..but a small price to pay for the tastiest spuds in hampshire
