A quick welcome to Shirley’s yummy garden
First things first…….Hello! 
I made my first attempt at ‘growing my own’ last spring when I built two raised beds in the middle of the garden. Due to the number of cats in my neighbourhood this had a damming effect when the cats seemed to thank me for the 2 luxurious litter trays that I created for them. However this didn’t put me off so this year I have transformed the end of the garden into a mini (approx. 4 x 4 mtrs) allotment and ditched the giant cat litter trays.
So in short I’m a novice if you haven’t already guessed. I aspire to be as green fingered as Carol Klein and Monty Don, but I’m probably more like a wannabe Felicity Kendal from the good life!
