Article submitted by Helen Get a spray off really strong weed killer, plastic gloves, cling film and small elastic bands and kitchen towels torn into small squares.
Put on gloves, sock kitchen towel in weed killer. cut cling film into small pieces. Cut down bind weed, spray plant and wrap kitchen towel, cling film around the end you cut and secure with elastic bands. The plant will draw the moisture out off kitchen towel and take it down to its roots..May not look right but it does the trick. Also works in brambles as well. You can also keep doing it every few days to keep the kitchen towel moist to make sure it keep taking it down to the roots. but remember to cut the plant every time. Also if you take a plant out off the ground and it leaves roots behiind that you know will re grow. Cover the roots in old rages soaked in weed killer covered in plastic to keep moist this will again be taken down in to the roots and will slowly kill it off. Best time to kill off these stubbon roots is now when its really cold and the frost can get to them and help kill them off. |

My way weed killer only goes on the weeds that you need to get rid off. Not everything else.
